Simba is very Friendly.  He has never met a stranger he doesn't like.  He's always happy, silly and playful.  He takes his toys (his mangled toys)  to the door to go out and when you tell him drop it he will drop it and continue on outside.  He mangles his toys but does not remove the squeakers.  He likes to play keep away.  You throw he fetches and then he keeps it from you.

Simba is very affectionate and loves to snuggle on the couch with you.  He's loyal to a fault as he is your shadow. He's head shy as if someone had hit him in the face or on the head but he will let you rub his head for hours on end. He loves kids of all ages but as goofy as he is I'd say older children would be a better match.  They say he is 7 or 8 years old but as playful as he is I'd say he is younger.  He's good with other dogs. maybe not smaller dogs as he steps on them but he's definitely not good with cats.

Simba is house trained and crate trained (under protest). We believe he was kept in too small of a crate as he had wounds on his feet that have since healed.  If you put treats in the back of the crate he will go in and be still for a little bit and then start barking to get out.  He has some obedience training which would not take too much to reinforce it.

Simba is just a silly goofball that thinks cats are playthings. He's very food oriented and he seems to have a high prey drive.  He loves his treats and will sit, roll over, lay down, and stay on command so far.
